As part of our drive to execute COFRA strategy, we are determined to elevate employees experience through a unique EVP accelerating their contribution and development for business growth. We need an exceptional Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for independently performing the full range of processing payroll, taxes, time & attendance, reporting and record keeping for The Netherlands, along with coordination of payroll vendors and authorities in France and Germany, with possible expansion of other countries. Onboarding of new clients and special projects are part of your daily job.

You will

  • Perform daily payroll department operations
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Reconcile multi-state payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Understand employer paid benefits
  • Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
  • Time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
  • Prepare and process all necessary documentation and reporting for yearly 401K, payroll and audits
  • Process workflow items through HRIS system in a timely manner (i.e, change of statuses, terminations, direct deposit changes and much more)
  • Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting, as needed
  • Research and email appropriate audience of file issues

What you will need

  • 5+ years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
  • Great organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with all stakeholders
  • Experience assisting employees with patience and empathy
  • Demonstrated accountability and urgency, facing issues positively and flexibly to deliver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thoughtfulness, flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Experience working with payroll & HRIS systems (Exact HR Salarisgemak& SuccessFactors preferred)
  • Strong technical skills including MS office 365 – Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams
  • Demonstrated determination and resilience, embracing your work with energy and creativity
