Purpose of the role    

The Business Managers’ primary responsibility is to support the Chief Client Officer (CCO) of Anthos Fund & Asset Management with a variety of strategic & business related topics and projects. You will gain exposure to key processes in which the CCO is involved and will pro-actively support on a broad range of issues and projects including business strategy, budgeting, sales management, process optimization, marketing and communication. You will contribute to prioritizing the agenda, supporting the different operational processes of the Commercial Department and preparing various meetings and committees in which the CCO is participating. This involves a great deal of project management and organisation.


Responsibilities of the Business Manager    

Direct support to the CCO/Program Management

  • Support CCO in managing interactions with Business Development, Client Relationship Management and Marketing teams.
  • Ensure information flow between stakeholders
  • Team meeting preparation and follow up; review meeting calendar; ensure CCO has all information needed to be as productive as possible. Design meetings and ensure follow up on agreed actions.
  • Planning and leading commercial & team events

Project Management/strategic initiatives

  • Support CCO in setting strategic priorities; support in identifying the focus areas, identifying metrics for success. Revisiting regularly and evaluate progress
  • Create & update dashboards/analysis for reviewing company’s KPI’s and progress review of strategic initiatives
  • Work in specific strategic topics, contribute to business cases
  • Create presentations for relevant stakeholders 

Advisor/thought leadership

  • Act as thought partner to the CCO/commercial team members. Brainstorming and identifying solutions to challenges.

Other tasks

  • Assisting in internal and external events, meetings and trips
  • Preparation of executive presentations and support on speeches


Education & Professional qualifications

  • Master degree in relevant field
  • 3-5  years of experience managing projects, programmes, etc. within a complex stakeholder international organization
  • Experience working in international organizations
  • Investment knowledge and understanding is a plus

  • Proven ability to think/act outside the box, deliver new ideas/wow with demonstrated business impact
  • Great relationship building skills, being able to build networks at senior leadership level
  • Analytical mindset, being able to analyze and interpretate data to make evidence-based decisions

  • Innovative thinker, with proven ability to think and act outside the box, delivering new ideas with demonstrated business impact
  • Impact driven, viewing commercial, social and environmental goals as inextricably linked
  • Relational, able to establish rapport quickly – internally and with clients
  • Able to work independently and also as part of a team to deliver integrated advice
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, German language skills preferred
